In 2017, Blake became certified in equine sports massage therapy at Equissage International, an American Veterinary Medical Association accredited program and National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork continuing education approved provider. Blake was fortunate enough to learn directly from Mary A. Schreiber, the founder of Equissage International. Mary is considered to be one of the true pioneers in the use and acceptance of massage therapy in the total health-care regimen of animals.

Blake studied Biochemistry at Sweet Briar College and has more than 20 years of federal consulting and customer service related experience. Blake’s true passion is horses and dressage which she has pursued for over 30 years. Blake’s inspiration for massage is her thoroughbred, Jonesy. Improving his circulation has changed his overall health and soundness more than any other treatment or intervention. When not at the barn, Blake spends time with her family, friends and rescue cat, Eggnog.
